Last week a delegation of Labour MPs including the Shadow Defence Secretary, Vernon Coaker, and the Shadow Minister for the Armed Forces, Kevan Jones, visited Israel and the Palestinian Territories.

The two day visit saw the delegation meet with notable politicians including the Israeli Labor Party Leader MK, Isaac Herzog; the Israeli Prime Minister’s Spokesperson, Mark Regev and the Palestinian Deputy Prime Minister, Dr. Ziad Abu Amr.

The delegation also attended a Ceremony at Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial and visited a children’s memorial before traveling to the West Bank Security Barrier where they had security meetings with officials.

Alongside this, the delegation meeting the British Ambassador to Israel, Matthew Gould to discuss key issues in the region.
