This weekend Ed Miliband, the Labour Leader, and Vernon Coaker, the Shadow Defence Secretary visited Afghanistan to see the brave work of the armed forces operating there.

The pair visited Camp Bastion and spoke with a number of soldiers, as well as attended a meeting with the Operating Commander and ISAF Regional Commander.

Ed Miliband used the visit to outline Labour’s plans to prevent discrimination against the armed forces. For more information on this, please see the post below.
